Who we are
Breakdownchoices.co.uk is operated by Breakdown Choices. For data protection queries, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP addresses, pages requested and browser type for security and capacity purposes. Logs are retained for a limited period.
- Analytics. We use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to see which pages are read. Where the analytics tool uses cookies or similar technology, consent is requested; see the cookie policy.
- Email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it.
What we do not collect
We have no quote forms, accounts, logins or newsletters. We do not ask for your name, address, vehicle or contact details anywhere on the site.
Affiliate links
When you click a link to a provider, the provider or an affiliate network may set a cookie on their domain to attribute any purchase to us. Those cookies are governed by the provider's and network's own policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Email us to exercise any of these.
