AA breakdown cover

There are four AA breakdown cover options, ranging from a basic service (where you’ll get help if your car breaks down at the roadside) to a fully comprehensive one (roadside assistance, home call-outs, transport to your destination, replacement hire car, etc), and everything in between.

Information on AA breakdown

The AA also provides ‘breakdown repair cover’, to help with repair costs following a breakdown. You can also add European breakdown cover to your AA policy, which covers costs for emergency car hire and accommodation.

You can even buy an AA membership policy as a gift for a friend, along with an emergency driver’s kit. The organisation also offers advice on car buying and care, precautions on travelling safely, and tips on driving your car abroad.
